Sorry for the delay, but we’ve got a great episode with the tech news by Austen, reviews by Aaron of the Buffalo Linkstation and Motorola SLVR L7, and an interview with Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist.

I’m running the OpenLink firmware on my LinkStation 250 and it works great. I used it to install NFS & Bonjour (which I compiled myself) so I can access it by name instead of IP address.
I find that the two standard protocols, SMB & AFP have their problems. SMB is painfully slow & AFP doesn’t handle long file names properly. NFS is fast and works beautifully. I posted an article with links to all of the software & cross-development tools including my build of Howl (Bonjour support) at http://www.macmegasite.com/node/2839
